1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Macroly (the “App”), you accept and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be the minimum age in your jurisdiction to use the App and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

3. Services

Macroly provides nutrition & macro tracking, meal logging, AI-parsing features, and subscription-based premium features.

4. Accounts & User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account.
  • You may delete or reset local data from settings.

5. User content

  • You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, notes).
  • By uploading content you grant Macroly a limited license to use, host, and display your content as necessary to provide services (non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable).
  • Don’t upload content that violates rights or laws.

6. AI & third-party processing

  • Photos and textual descriptions submitted for AI parsing will be transmitted to our AI provider for analysis.
  • AI estimates are for informational purposes and may be approximate; we disclaim responsibility for errors in AI output.

7. Medical disclaimer

Macroly provides informational content only; it is not medical advice. Consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical or dietary concerns.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Paid features are billed via RevenueCat / platform billing (Apple/Google). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • Refunds follow App Store / Google Play and our refund policy (link). Cancelling stops future renewals but does not necessarily refund past charges.

9. Prohibited conduct

No illegal activity, no reverse engineering, no misuse of the App, no infringing content or privacy violations. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

10. Intellectual property

The App and its content are owned by Macroly or our licensors. All rights reserved.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or inactivity. You can close your account in settings (if applicable) or contact support.

12. Disclaimers & Liability limits

  • Services provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law (e.g., refund of subscription fees paid in the prior 12 months), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Macroly from claims arising from your use of the App or breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka, unless otherwise required by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and will post an updated effective date and notify you for material changes.
